Entry for GMTK 2024.
Umbral: Embark on a surreal journey through the infinite void, accompanied by an ominous blob, rapidly expanding and consuming everything. Your task is to restrict it's growth, good luck!
Made in Python with the Pygame-CE and Moderngl libraries.
You only need the mouse for this game, however, pressing r will reset the level, and pressing escape will exit to main menu.
Note: It is strongly recommended to play this game with a mouse instead of a touchpad. Headphones recommended for ambience.

Install instructions
Unzip the downloaded compressed archive, enter the folder that was just unpacked, double click main.exe to run the game!
Note: Windows defender might block the execution of the game due to it detecting a virus, this is normal with python games packaged this way and you need not worry! Simply bypass the prompt and run anyway. (obviously one with malicious intend would say the same but... just trust me bro!)
